Couples Counseling

The goal of couples counseling is to address areas of conflict in your relationship, including poor communication, isolation, loss of intimacy, parenting difficulties and any other type of relationship strain.  This type of work is highly flexible depending on the couple's needs and goals, and is not restricted to married couples.  It may include life-partners, people who are considering marriage and desire premarital counseling, and those who are thinking about or currently separated and want a place where they can safely communicate in order to reach better family and parenting decisions.

Couples sessions are generally held on a weekly basis and can be either 50 or 90 minutes long.  Frequency and length of sessions, as well as treatment duration can vary depending on the couples' goals and needs and can be discussed during our initial consultation.
